turpsI've said it before, but chocolate tastes so much better in Easter Egg form. I don't know why, but it really does.
Yesterday I picked up a Too Good to Go Magic Bag from Subway, picked up some tomato, courgette and cucumber plants, had a short walk and dropped an egg off for Kayleigh at her work to cheer her up as she was on a 14-hour shift. Then back home to make a sort of roast. The sort of as it was mash, veggies, belly pork/Quorn roast, gravy and not the whole roast dinner thing.
A few days ago I was followed by a new account on Instagram, and when I checked it out found out another cat cafe is opening in Newcastle. This one has a selection of pedigree cats who all look adorable, but when checking it out I found out that the admission fee is £10 a person, which is quite a bit more than the other cat cafes we go to. But, they also do a carers go free offer plus free tea and coffee for NHS/Blue Light card holders, so using those offers it actually works out cheaper than the others.
Later we're going to see Corey and drop off his eggs/chocolate. That is if James ever wakes up, while nothing was broken he's still aching from his fall and I suspect may have set off a minor AMC flair, so he's napping on the couch right now.
Earlier I watched the last episode of Bull I had recorded and it seemed like an end-of-series ep. Looking it up I found out it had been cancelled and I can't say I'm surprised. I quite liked the show, but it was never a favourite so it won't be a miss.
Now I need to get some tidying done before going out, especially pick up scraps of cardboard as yet again Murphy has ripped a box apart. Like most cats he enjoys sitting in them, but also likes to tear them apart using his teeth. Sadly, the second habit isn't as cute and picture-worthy.

I hope you got a good Costa bag. I've had some great ones -- and not-so-good ones, from there. Once we were given a bag full of muffins that hadn't even been taken out of the packaging. But yeah, the supermarket ones you can never be sure what you'll get. Add in food allergies and I imagine they could easily be a waste of money.
I'm sure you will get caught up at one point. Getting behind because of those storylines is very understandable.

However, I have a list of my appointments taped to the refrigerator (because magnets only work on the sides, not the front!), and he jumped up on the fridge and proceeded to take a big bite out if my list! He's never eaten paper before or after that I know of. Just my appointment list. The list is still there, taped to the fridge and he hasn't touched it since.
Cats are WEIRD (but oh so loveable!).

Sort of related, James has started to watch the latest season of NCIS. While I knew a load of characters had left it was still a shock to see only Tim and Jimmy there from the original characters.

I'm not sure where in the season it was but Jimmy had been poisoned/gassed in the locked lab with his daughter outside -- and that was another shock, that his wife had died. I've missed a lot it seems.
I'll have to watch it properly at some point. It's not the show I knew, but it still seems to have engaging characters. I'm actually surprised that Tim didn't start from the very beginning, it feels like he's been there forever, but it seems not.

They killed off Fornell's daughter about the same time, so why couldn't Emily have died from COVID? They've also bumped up Victoria's age. I think about seven years after the episode when she was born, she was suddenly eleven years old. Ah, the magic of television!
I do really like Jimmy with Jess, though. They're a cute couple. *G*
