I think my house is cursed in terms of leaks. I was watching tv last night when I heard something dripping from the kitchen. Went to investigate and there was water dripping from the ceiling. It was from a spot that was under the bathroom but not the bath, sink, or toilet so I'm not sure what was going on. There wasn't much and it stopped overnight, so I hope it was just some escaping water from my bath earlier that I hadn't noticed because I really don't want another insurance job situation.

Also, last night, I was weak and checked out the Strictly pairing spoilers, and I'm a happy bunny. Now, bring on Saturday for the launch show.

We've got a craft fair, in a fortnight, so yesterday I was painting silver stars that hold Chocolate oranges. I have to admit, I'm not really crafty minded but it was easy enough to do them. James did the dinosaurs when he got home from work and there are still five snowmen to go, which I suspect will be left to me, too.

It's only a small craft fair held at our vets in aid of Consett Cats, the rescue where we got Murphy, so James will have to be selective in terms of what he's taking. More significantly, the rescue is also holding cat and kitten cuddling sessions using cats needing homes. I feel this may be a dangerous time.

I'm now paranoid about leaks, though thankfully, no more water has escaped since.

The stars and other craft items sound lovely. I hope you have lots of customers at the fair, and come home yourselves with only things you want.

It hasn't happened again, thank goodness. But I'm still wary, I suspect I always will be now after the bedroom situation of last year.

I hope lots of customers do turn up, and yeah, that we don't come home with an extra cat *g*

I see from comments that there haven't been any more leaks. Not knowing why it happened must still make it quite worrying I can imagine. I mean, what if it happens again?! I'll keep my fingers crossed it really was a once-off thing and won't happen again!

I hope you had fun with the snowmen :-) In any case, lots of good luck at the fair and be careful with those cat and kitten cuddles!

Yeah, still no more leak but you're right, it is worrying about where it came from in the first place and I have to wonder if it will happen again. Water can cause so much damage. :(

I was shifted from snowmen to christmas trees, those are a pain to paint because they're so pointy.

I was very tempted to try the mint chocolate oranges. Those dinos should be glad they've all still got a green belly!
