As you know, I don't have kids, so don't deal with kid-things... but it sounds pretty funny that they left the costume out... LOL

It's so wonderful how well you're doing with your class! And yes, do your squats! I read an article once that said the single MOST IMPORTANT exercise a person can do as they age is a squat! Seniors need their leg strength to be able to get up off a chair or bed, and need their balance. The reason so many seniors fall and insure their hips and such is a lack of balance and leg strength. So yeah, keep up those squats! Even if I've done nothing else all day, I do squats while I brush my teeth at night, so I always get a little bit in.

Another thing to work on is balance. Remember when I had Plantar Fasciitis? I was SHOCKED that I couldn't balance on one foot for more than a few seconds. It was frightening how quickly a person can lose their balance. So that's something else I work on a lot. I'll stand on one foot for a minute, then switch. I often do that when I'm cooking as my stove timer has seconds. Or if I have something in the microwave - like a can of soup. I often microwave things for 2-1/2 minutes or so, which gives me at least a minute of balancing on each foot! So yeah, those are two worthwhile things people can do to keep their balance in shape (and prevent accidents) as they age!

It's awesome how much fitter you've become and that you're able to walk and talk without stopping now. Go you!

Congrats on your new dresses! Any kitty prints?

(I know that's not Ozzie in the icon, but it is his birthday day! LOL)
