Kids!

Somebody save me from *helpful* children. Corey and his friend decided to help in the house yesterday and surprise me by polishing. Okay, it was a lovely idea, but after nearly taking a header down the stairs after they polished the banister and skating across the wooden floors I wish they'd picked something else to do...sigh. For some reason they also polished the toilet seat ( James found that one...snigger..) and every door in the house. Which would be nice except the polish they chose is one you have to use *very* sparingly as it's liquid not spray. Lets just say that the doors have a layer of shine that'll be there for the next year lol.

Today I'm trying to update the archive, but Geocities isn't letting me save. It's at times like this that I know the decision to move to another server is the right one.

that is I've requested a site from Populli. I've been hitting the tutorials and *finally* today got a fully working page that's just ready to be uploaded. I've cracked Notetab!!!!1

Of course I now have all these worse case scenarios in my head of losing my archive, all that hard work coding stories disappearing into cyberspace. But it's a good thing that I'm leaving Geocities....really it is...tell me it is!!

I'm really feeling very proud right now lol.

ARGHHHH now I'm not. Alice has mailed already, 10 mins after I asked for a site. I'm not ready!! I didn't think it would be today.
