(no subject)

Did an entry last night, then LJ lost it *kicks LJ* What it said was I'd been trying to write a Stargate drabble for castalie and couldn't do it. I like the show, know the characters but just couldn't hear Jack and Daniel in my head. I attempted to start multiple times but it wasn't going to happen. I'll have to leave the SG writing for the real fans.

I'm trying to update the archive again but my FTP won't connect, so I'm going to write, that is once I get some clothes on. After getting a broad hint from Pat about The End, I just want to say that I haven't abandoned it, promise. I've always been active in more than one fandom at a time, I know most people tend to like one at a time but I spread my love around *g* So right now I'm writing The End, the trickyfish and a MX. I just dip into them depending on what I want to write at the time.

The series *will* be finished. I wouldn't dare not to, not unless I changed my name and hid ;)

I'm having an annoying afternoon. I've been coding and updating the MX archive, it was going well until I hit one particular story. I hate it. Hate hate hate it so much! I want to grab the story and shake it snarling WTF! What makes it worse is the writer is usually one of my favourites, I love her stuff, but this time...

Also, the codes bugging on me for some reason so I'm having to check each line individually. I'm trying to check without reading but sentences keep catching my eye and I can't help reading which sets me off again.

I know I've been all about the sparkly love lately but Brennan is my guy, and when he's portrayed like he is here, even if it's a situation out of his control, I hate it. I've been coding the damn story for hours now as I have to keep leaving it.

To distract myself I've been looking at pretty Chris pictures -- big mistake. Lets just say don't let me near Chris pics when there's pasta cooking. Because there's a good chance I'll forget and end up with a burnt pan and a huge amount of stodge that used to be pasta and that could now be used to paste wallpaper. Guess we're having chips for tea then *g*

Better get back to coding *glares at story*
