Woke up this morning thinking about ducks. Had no idea why, then as I was stumbling downstairs I remembered the insane comment conversation becca and I were having last night. I wrote Andi Peters/Edd the Duck slash. Yes, that's right Edd the Duck who's a hand puppet. The only thing I'm grateful for is the small amount of people who know who I mean and as a result how deep my shame goes. I totally blame seiyaharris who encouraged me. I mean come on, it's after 1am I'm tanked on caffeine and she mentions Andi Peters coming out of the closet. Who wouldn't start thinking about slashing him with Edd? Of course we then moved on to Philip Schofield/Gordon the Gopher, and icon making commenced ( see above ) Insane I tell you!

But okay, Andi/Philip has a certain appeal in a sick way

Moving on. Our local station's still running the tree story. In a semi joking way this morning, which they had to do to fit in with the theme of the breakfast show. But they still said how disgusting it was and told anyone that was offered a cheap tree or suddenly had a tree turn up at their home to contact the station and they'd get it back to us. Not that that's going to happen but it's nice of them to say it anyway.

Going to get something to eat now then more cards to write this afternoon.

I'm feeling all productive just now. I've made a good dent in my comment build up and have sent the sesa off. I've also mailed some people, that is after I stopped laughing at the link castalie sent. Sis, it was awesome and made me lol so much!

Also, Linda mailed! Which gives me hope that my e-mail problems may be over! Which also means I may get my TS AU done at last.

Just need to decide if £120 for two DVD box sets of Queer as Folk is too expensive. It's tempting but I've a feeling I could get them cheaper if I wait until the new year.

Last, because I've been needing to do this all day.

Just so everyone knows I'm *green* with envy about everyone who saw the boys. Deeply green, in fact I may resemble some kind of nasty slimy seaweedy green. However, I'm loving the squee and manfully stopping my jealous side from appearing after every post I read. Because they'll be mpegs soon, yes they will.

Please tell me there'll be mpegs!

But in other news...my tree is home!

Can you believe it. One of our friends on the estate where we live found it lying near his house. No lights or stand left but still my tree! I don't know if someone's just dumped it there after getting spooked or heard the radio thing, I just don't know. At the moment it's lying on its side in the garden and once I have the fence fortified. Nails and grease is going up soon, it's going back up, lights and all!

Oh man, I'm like...wow just now. Boys, trees and my flist has been full of happy news for once. I just want to hug you all! I'm so happy I could sing! So if you hear an off tune rendition of Backstreets Back, well that's me!

*twirls round the room*

Now I may have some Andi/Philip/Gordon to think about. My OT3 for sure ;)
