I have a pet peeve, and normally I just bitch in mail, but gah.

When someone posts a picture of Lance, and someone comments on his outfit or the way he's standing, by saying 'And he said he was straight!' Just no! Every single member of Nsync wore outfits as outlandish as Lance did. They had stylists, that's what stylists do, put their clients into clothes designed to be noticed. It wasn't Lance's inner gay seeping through his veneer of straightness. Not unless that was happening to the other four too, and as much as I love my imagined thoughts of group sex orgies between them all, that wasn't happening.

Also. Liking him better now because he's gay? Why?! I don't mean respecting him because he came out. I mean, actually thinking he's better because he's gay. Someone explain that to me, because I don't get it.

Okay, I'm done now, and I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but it drives me nuts.

I'm here to ask a favour of the graphically minded people. You may remember me mentioning I was thinking of running a pop fandom appreciation challenge. Well, I've gone and set up a comm pop_appreciate. If you look over there you'll see what the challenge is about, but basically what I wanted to do is to give something back to the pop fandom, because I think it's awesome. I don't know if anyone will join or take part, but I do know showing appreciation is never wrong.

What I'd love is if someone could make me an icon, and maybe a header to make the comm look pretty. If a header is too much trouble, an icon would be excellent.

Up to now I'm planning to start the challenge in a few weeks, which gives time for pimping. So feel free to go see, though there's nothing to see there at the moment.

Talking of my last post. I want to thank everyone for discussing so calmly. I tend to stay on the fence because to put it simply, I'm a wuss. Even though people have been discussing things in a very interesting way, I always expect to be defriended.
