Yesterday, for the meme, nopseud gave me this.

Okay. Characters 8 and 4 are secretly dating, but for press purposes, 8 is publicly dating 9, and 4 is publicly dating 2. But 8 and 4 are getting hot and heavy in the jacuzzi when 12, who knows nothing about the situation, walks in and sees them. Now 12 is best friends with 2, and is torn over whether or not to tell 2 about what they saw. After one too many drinks, they share the dilemma with their other friends, 7 and 11, at a nightclub. Unfortunately, the whole conversation is overheard by a journalist, and it shows up on E! News. 4 and 2 have no choice but to break up, leaving 2 without a public date. Their publicist finally comes up with character 3, the best she can do on short notice. So, in order to spread the news, 4 and 3 enter a celebrity golfing tournament, also attended by 11, 1, 15 and 5. Totally unexpectedly, 4 falls hard for 15. They have a night of torrid passion, but in the morning 15 reveals that they are secretly pregnant by 14. Heartbroken, 4 leaves the golf tournament early and takes their vows in a Tibetan monastary. 8, confused by the sudden disappearance of 4, and unaware of the situation with 14, asks 10 to track them down and bring them home. With the help of 13, 10 finds 4, and persuades them to come home, where they confess all to 8. My question is: character 6, boxers or briefs?

Which is brilliant! But the more I looked at it, the more of a challenge it seemed, and I couldn't back down. So, behind the cut is 2000 words of insanity. I'd give you the pairings, but really. It's best you find out yourself.

How does Chris and Gerard meet?

Well, it went like this. Since the hiatus Chris has been partying hard, and one day he wakes up and realises he has a problem. Dry swallowing painkillers, he gets dressed, kicks the stragglers out of his house and phones his mom, saying he needs help.

Days later, after he's spent the last few night at her house, washing dishes and watching tv, she drops him off at his first meeting. He's nervous, but he knows this is the best thing to do. Pulling on his sunglasses he kisses his mom and walks inside.

Gerard's one of the first people he sees. He's sitting quietly at the back, and he smiles a welcome as Chris sits in the chair nearest the door.

After the meeting is over, it's Gerard that pours Chris coffee and they drink it in companionable silence before they both leave. Knowing who the other is, but never saying names.
