I wasn't impressed at all this morning when my speakers decided to act up again. They're controlled by a control thing that's attached by a wire to the actual speakers ( I know, I'm the most technical minded person ever ) and I suspect there's a loose wire somewhere because with careful manipulation they will work eventually.

Anyway! Point being I was on the verge of re downloading on Corey's computer when they finally gave me voices as well as sound. Which is good ( because )

I'm back in the groove with my Space AU again. I got stuck for a while, basically second guessing everything I'd written and was trying to say. So I pushed the story toward nopseud who stepped in with reassurances and suggestions. Ones that made a lot of sense and also gave me the push to get going again. One thing that was tripping me up with the sci-fi aspect. Making up names is surprisingly difficult, and while I do enjoy thinking of the worlds they're in, I kept looking at the names of things, which honestly tended toward a garbled mixture of random letters, and wondering what the heck I was doing. But, now I have background notes, and I can start to unify my terminology and it's fun. Well, for me. Not so much them at the moment.
