Nov. 28th, 2008 01:42 pmWe went to pick up James' tuxedo yesterday morning, and then after that it was off to dad's for a visit. He was so much better than he has been for a while, he was talking more with actual inflection in his tone, and had a spark to him that's been missing for ages now. I've missed him being like that, I've missed him being able to hold an actual conversation.
After that we went to see my niece and nephew, and at one point I was holding Lewis with Hallie hanging onto my leg. But again it was a good visit, so I took the morning as a win.
Then I had myself a Project Runway Canada marathon and read bad waycest fic, both of which kept me very amused, and also had me reading along and being all, 'don't go there... No... NO!!'
It was nice watching PR and not having to worry about being spoiled, being as some people don't seem to think reality show results deserve spoilers. Which brings me nicely to Lance, but more specifically Lacey. Honestly, some of the reaction posts I saw rubbed me up the wrong way. How is it ever right to call people names? It's not, simple as.
To end, have this meme.
Put your MP3 player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first is the title.
( She was my once in a lifetime. )
