(no subject)

It's my dad's birthday today. Unfortunately he's spending it in hospital after unexpectedly being admitted yesterday. He's got jaundice and various other problems, so he's had all kinds of scans to try and find out what's wrong.

We went to visit yesterday, and then today took Pauline through for afternoon visiting, stayed for that, drove back and picked nanna up so she could go for evening visiting with Pauline, and then came home as James has to go to scouts. So that's where he is, while I'm here having five minutes before going to tackle cleaning the bathroom -- we had to unblock the main wetroom drain this morning. Goodness knows how long it had being backing up for as when I took the bath panel off all I can say is, yikes.

So yeah, back to more hospital visiting again. Funnily enough, dad is in the ward next door to where mam was a few weeks ago. I think I could get there with my eyes closed at this point. I just hope he's out before or on Monday because nanna, Pauline and dad don't know I'm going to hospital on Tuesday, and I'd like to keep it that way.
