Sep. 19th, 2015 09:38 pmToday we found out dad has pancreatic cancer.
He's got a huge tumour but they'll check that out more on Monday morning, and also put in some kind of stent things to help the jaundice. Then hopefully he'll come home Tuesday before treatment is arranged at the cancer department hospital in Newcastle.
I don't know if dad hasn't fully taken it in, or has and can't communicate how he actually feels. Probably a bit of both.
But his score isn't high enough that they're not willing to try any treatments. That has to be a positive.
2015, the year that keeps on delivering the kicks over and over.
