The Snowflake is running again next month. I always enjoy that challenge, and they're looking for volunteers right now, so if you're interested, check out the post.

The weather is supposed to get a bit dicey today with ice rain. All the forecasts are doom and gloom with weather warnings everywhere. We've already been out to do a bit shopping this morning and it was bitter then. But James has to go to work soon and finishes at midnight. While there's no snow or rain yet I've told him to be extra careful coming back, ice is scary stuff.

Turlough wanted to see some photos of my Christmas tree and decorations. ( behold, the glitter and tinsel )

The writing of my bandom holidays story is going well. Once I got started I remembered that I did actually know how to write, I'd just got out of the habit of doing so. So that's my plan tonight, more writing, some reading, a long bath and watching the Strictly final.

Finally, I did like Mikey and Kristin's announcement that they were having another daughter. It's such a cute photo.
