We ordered our new Motability car today! There's a delay so while James is supposed to get the new one at the beginning of Jan it may be up to March, but for the electric boot, he's happy to wait. Plus, he now has to pay for some of his adaptations, so it's an extra £100 for the flip foot peddles. But, along with the deposit, that doesn't need to be paid until new car day so not a worry for now.
We saw Venom 2 and I very much enjoyed it. I was surprised it finished so fast, then saw it had a running time of 1 hour 37, which isn't that short. Just, lately, I've got used to films being much longer. Also, if fandom doesn't lap up this film yet again I'll be very surprised.
We finished watching Squid Game last night. Now to catch up on the other stuff I've missed due to binge-watching that the last few nights. A local working man's club is doing their own version of Squid Game, £10 a ticket while stressing no killing will take place, which I would hope would be a given and made me laugh when I saw.
Not so much a good thing as a thing, James had a limb centre appointment at 9am so we've been out of the house since 8. It also meant I spent well over an hour reading in the car, which was nice.
