intoabar assignment yesterday and it's Roy Kent goes into a bar and meets... Eleanor Bishop (Hawkeye)!
The thought amuses me, though I will need to find out if my usual beta even watches Ted Lasso or Hawkeye and get pondering why they'd actually meet.
I'm pleased that I've the excuse to try writing Roy, and especially so as part of his backstory is he was scouted for Sunderland when he was nine and moved up there as part of the academy programme. And of course, as Sunderland is only a few miles up the road for me, it's a place I know very well, including the stadium, where the training grounds etc are. Not that that'll be much use in this situation but it's nice to have visual images to things he's said.
