Oct. 27th, 2023 04:22 pmI knocked on
misbegotten 's trick or treat door and was given some fabulous icons. I'll be using many but this cheerful duck seemed perfect for this shiny new icon post. Thank you, again!
I've finished watching some tv series in the last days. Crazy Fun Park was a little gem I ended up loving, and was much more about the handling of grief than I was expecting from the first ep.
Today I finished season one of The Ark, and am glad to see it has a second season.
This morning I watched new Hudson and Rex which remains my favourite cheesy Canadian detective and dog tv show. Everyone should have a Rex. Then this afternoon I finally started to watch the rebooted version of Queer as Folk, and yeah, talk about a dramatic start.
Every time I talk about Queer as Folk, I flash back to my early fannish obsessions and Stuart Alan Jones. So many conversations with
castalie about that guy and the show at large.
Then Halloween Strictly tomorrow. I know some people don't like the theme weeks, but I say, bring them on!
And that ends the 'what Terri has watched and will watch' section of this post.
Tomorrow I'm Bodhi sitting, from 8:30 to mid-afternoon this time, so not such a long day. My MiL did want us to take her out tomorrow as my SiL's partner and kids are going away for a few days while my SiL is going out with my nephew. But, we haven't got a car seat for Bodhi, and wouldn't take her in the car without one. Plus, there's no way I could manage a toddler and the wheelchair anyway. So, James is going to spend time with his mam in her house and I'll be at Kayleigh's, and hopefully, going for a walk to the local park, too.
