You'd think if you have a cordless phone you'd remember to put it back on its charger at night, then when it rings and rings and rings in the morning it could be answered. But no, it seems down the side of the armchair is where it's left. This morning is just one irritation on top of another. I couldn't watch MX because James wanted to see something else, he said I could watch the repeat this afternoon, which yes I can, but that's not the point. I need my Brennan fix! Then Kay phoned. I gave her my old computer last year, it's not that old maybe 4 years if that but she keeps breaking him. So this morning the computer guy came out to fix it and said Blue should be trashed and I broke him. Me! Because I apparently had too much stuff on him and used too much memory, which is pissing me off because that's what computers are for. Yes, I did download a lot but Blue had two hard drives because of that. OH, and the computer guy reset the computer back to a time before I installed Virgin.net so it means I'll have to go up and install BT anytime again so I can download the Virgin software which is something I really don't want to do. Gah!

But good things. There's new Chris pics! And he looks fantastic! Such a wonderful hot man, he makes my day brighter, he really does.

I joined the Voyager weekly challenge comm, because Voyager! The comm seems mostly to be drabble based which is weird but we'll see how it goes. I read a little too between my rant about phones and computers and writing this. Now that I leave my computer on all the time I tend to leave the browsers too so I can carry on where I left off at night. This means for the last week I've had a browser open on the Living Series by Matthew Haldemen-Time. By now it's become a personal challenge that I will finish it even though the story confuses the hell out of me. There's so many Justins and Nicks and sdbs having sex with each other and the burning question is who the hell are 98 Degrees? The only reason I know Nick Lachey is because of the Newlyweds. Oh I know they're short, buff, can't dance and have enormous dicks too, but that might be fanon.

I'd better go and fix the computer again...sigh.

Did I mention new Chris pics! ;)

I mean. It wasn't one of the first crossovers or anything I had read, I'm a huge fan of Lucy's letterboys of Luv chris/JC/AJ combo. But to anybody who reads this as their first crossover experence, it's so...misleading. There are things in that story you'll never find again in another crossover. And they're so deep in the story, like the uber-band 'sentimental fools', that you don't even realize that it's knocking you for a loop. It took me five days to read the bulk of it and during those five days, I was basically a hermit because I didn't want to go off the bat at someone.

Don't get me wrong, It's not a very bad story at all. The writing style is clean and beautiful and it's probably that reason why everybody misunderstands it so. It's just that the characters and plot are cracked out, and the sex is only so hot, you know.

That said, there are some truly unforgettable scenes of the story. Especially the Joshtin part. If you have to read them, I'd reccomend finding the Sex in the elevator chapter, and the chapter where justin's the groupie to JC's rockstar. That's got to be the single best scene in the whole damn thing in my opinion. It's right in the middle of 'playing with each other's dependency', and JC just dominates Justin's mind, over and over again and it's just such a peice. The smut isn't the centerpeice of it, it's the part where Justin actually turns into a teenie. It's almost frightening and overwhelming how he changes from Justin timberlake, pop superstar in the lobby to Justin Timberlake, Quivering #1 fan of JC's so damn quickly.

In all honesty, I wish all of living were just like those chapters. So slow burning and overwhelming. It would have a much, much better reputation if it were, IMO. If you haven't read either, I'll find them for you. They truly are the best part of 'living'.

Yeah, I get what you mean. If I'd read that in my early days of fandom I would have thought the three bands were bosom buddies which isn't true at all. I doubt they're enemies to the extent that some fics have them, but this goes too far in the other direction.

I am enjoying reading it, but not in terms of any band that I know because they're so far removed from how I see things that it might as well be original fic.

I think I may be coming up to those parts now. I'm past the Chris/Howie hook up bite and we're moving onto something, no idea what but I'll look forward to seeing the scenes you mention.

What happened to your fic you posted tonight btw? I read it, went to feedback and it was gone.
