Man, the flist is so slow, even the none pop people are gone.

I'm debating joining the challenge ran by northernveil here. I must be insane but it's a cool idea for a challenge.

That's all I've got at the moment, I could tell you the joy I'm feeling at all the CFTC pictures and reports but all that would end in would be a lot of flailing, squeeing and remarks about TrickC! So I'll let you imagine it *g*

Now back to the in-box.

Well, one other thing going on this weekend is ComiCon, which is one of the biggest comics and pop media conventions in the US. There are a lot of LOTR folks there (both cast/crew and fans), and Buffy folks (ditto), comics folks, science fiction geeks, Neil Gaiman fans, etc., etc. So it's possible some of your friendslist has wandered that way.

Plus, man, it's been nasty, evil hot this weekend, for most of the US, so a lot of US people have just been laying low and not posting much. Like me...

But outside of the States, I don't know where people have wandered off to.

That might explain it actually, especially the heat. I've read posts from people in Europe but hardly anyone else.

This does seem like a remarkably slow weekend for LJ, and I have a mostly non-Pop people friended, so I know it's not CFTC. Then again, I don't usually spend this much time on LJ during the weekend, so perhaps my perception stems from the fact that I am watching the flist like a hawk, clicking on refresh again and again. *g*
