Call me crazy but I love reading character death - well, not Daniel's, but that's another story (never, ever make me read another story where Daniel is impaled, it made me sick, especially because it was one of the first SG fic I read, but that's another matter)... well, the one where Blair dies of AIDS was aweful too...

*frowns* okay, did I say I was all for CD? It's just that here, in that fic, it would make sense: Jim cannot not lose someone close to him, it would be Disney Stupid (but then again, they killed Bambi's mother so there). Better Simon than Blair. Don't worry, you won't lose me as a reader - you may make me cry, but that's okay cause I'm forewarned lol. As for Daryl being resentful, it makes sense, both in the story and in Daryl's personality.

So to sum it up: go for it girl, and kill Simon!
