Earlier
lazydwarf wanted some trickyfish, sadly I don't have a creative bone in my body at the moment so instead you get the great trickyfish love affair as seen in pictures.
The story starts many moons ago, when an ugly ogre realised why exploit one boyband when you can exploit two? From this decision the mighty creation myth was fashioned. A thing of fluid beauty this myth evolved based on a thousand lies and very few truths as members joined and left until finally only the bravest were left standing. As they stood and dreamed of the riches and fame that was sure to come their way.

It's at this point Lance and Chris started on the journey of their lives, the bond of friendship forged over a love of practical jokes , sharing abed bedroom and strengthened over being made to wear ugly shirts. However, wearing the hideous things didn't seem that bad when you weren't the only one. Outcast from the others due to the ugliness of the shirts Chris and Lance smile, even as they're pushed to the sides. JC and Joey smile too, but someone isn't happy...

and soon Justin's mood spreads, until the only ones left smiling were Chris and Lance, united in ugly shirt friendship and unaware of the unsettled currents of emotion that surround them.

Time goes on and Lance and Chris spend hours each night, whispering in the darkness about how unfair it is they're always cursed with the matching ugly clothes. Being the smallest sucks, not only do you usually stand at either side of shoots to create balance you're also given shirts at least three sizes too big. At the shoot next day they assure each other that the waistcoats hide the excess of material, because that's what friends do, well that and mock Justin who spent the morning crying and running around the room when one of his wax strips got stuck to his nipple.

Then the day of the dungarees changed everything. Happily entering the studio Lance and Chris looked at the clothes thrust into their hands and bit back a groan. Dungarees were bad enough but over the top of windbreakers? That was just too much. But they bit back their complaints knowing a protest was useless, they'd both heard the lectures, fame costs and that included wearing fugly dungaree/windbreaker outfits. They consoled one another by pointing out how stupid Justin looked, then in a heart beat things changed as things clicked into place.

As they realised friendship had bloomed into love. *happy sigh*

From that moment their love strengthened as they walked hand in hand on the beach where Chris broke out the boyband handsignal to proclaim Lance his.

They laughed when they reached the old pier with its humorous photo cut outs. As one they ran to the wedding scene, Lance yelling dibs on the bride. They stayed there for hours, grinning and planning how they'd marry once they were famous.

Even when separated they used the boyband hand signals to show their love. When Chris indicated his crotch Lance replied that he wanted two fingers today please.

Then used his own boyband hand signals to show he was feeling toppy tonight. Chris growled, over come with lust.

Overjoyed at the love that bubbled through his body Chris kept hugging Lance, wanting to show the whole world how much he adores his man. However in his joy he doesn't see a storm gathering as Joey grits his teeth, jealousy surging.

No one had realised how much he loved Lance, the torture he hid day after day watching his love with another. There was only one thing to do, he had to make sure they could never be alone, if he did that their relationship would never strengthen and one day Lance would be his. Oh yes he would. Soon wherever Lance was Joey was too.
Jammed against him in a shoot as Chris was forced to watch.

Gatecrashing the dungaree gang.

Until all Lance wanted to do was take Chris and run away to be alone, except Joey came then too, bring the others along for the ride.

The constant attention from Joey was confusing. Lance loved Chris, but was that love enough? One night he tip toed to mama Bass' room, sitting on her bed in his flannel pjs as he spilled his secrets, how his love for Chris was deep but he was having doubts, could he stay with the same man all his life? Could he be so lucky to find his soul mate so young? Momma Bass patted his hand then pulled him close. She said she liked Chris but he was so much older. Lance had a life to lead and he should do that before settling down. Lance's heart ached at her words, but he knew she was right.

Telling Chris they had to break up was the hardest thing Lance had ever done, and he nearly turned, yelling 'I've changed my mind' as Chris told him he loved him so much he'd let him go. Lance was sad, and moped, work the only thing easing the pain.

Chris tried to be brave, but sometimes it was too much. Especially when he had to watch Joey comfort Lance.

But like every story life goes on. Lance sewed his wild oats with Joey and the had a wild passionate love affair that was bound to end in disaster, for as much as Joey loved Lance, Lance loved someone else more. Eventually, after hours of talk they decided that friendship was the best for everyone. They remained close friends, but Lance's knew now that his heart belonged to only one man.

And he began a courtship with computer games.

Golf

And alcohol

Until that wonderful day when their eyes met and Lance knew this time it was for real as they leapt into each others arms.

Never to be parted again as they picked matching tattoos to show their love.

And that's exactly how it happened ;)
