Jun. 6th, 2006 02:06 pmEta: A very happy birthday to
pensnest. You write wonderful stuff, makes the best cake of death ever, and really, are just a cool person. I hope you're having a wonderful day :D
pensnest's dragon challenge has gone live! The stories are here and I'm so looking forward to reading them. The stories are anon for the first week, so it'll be interesting if anyone guesses mine. I know I'll be having a guess at the writers, though only to myself as I seriously suck at matching stories to writers. That's been shown over and over at SeSa time. Now that Dragons have been achieved I need to finish my poor late lambs story. Stop
madame_d calling me out as a promise breaker ;)
The weather is so beautiful here at the moment. On Saturday we went to Whitby for the day, complete with full squad of in laws. But it was a good day, lots of sun and sitting drinking coke outside a village pub. Sunday it was a drive followed by a visit to Ikea to check out the sale. Sadly they'd ran out of vegetarian hotdogs, I'd so wanted one too. Yesterday, the BiLs mam came up to visit, so we went to see her then off for a walk at the beach. Such an exciting life I lead *g*
Now I've moved the cat I can attempt to read the flist. Her nails are really sharp and as she loves kneading, so it's like having needles shoved into your skin over and over. I've a low cut t-shirt on and it looks like I fell on a cactus. Or I could read dragons, because. Dragons!

Date: 2006-06-06 01:19 pm (UTC)Oh boy, I know the feeling, do I ever. Some stories write themselves and some other just don't. Those are hell.

Date: 2006-06-06 01:27 pm (UTC)I wish every story would write itself, sadly I doubt we'd ever be so lucky. Which reminds me, your SPN fic of goodness! I must hit your journal.

Date: 2006-06-06 05:13 pm (UTC)aren't cats fun when they are "kneading"? I still miss having a cat though.
Dragons! yay! I'm slowly reading my way through the stories today. I really think that the medication is doing something to my ability to concentrate. I only hope that my story doesn't reflect that. eeep.

Date: 2006-06-06 05:25 pm (UTC)Cats hurt like crazy when they knead. I had to keep moving her paws because ouch! Moffet isn't so bad but Freesia has claws like hooks.
I'm sure your story will be lovely as always. I wonder if I can guess yours, I've read all your stuff so should be able to.

Date: 2006-06-06 05:22 pm (UTC)Your dragon challenge has thrown up some amazing stories. I read them all in a huge lump earlier, when I get back tonight I'll feedback, maybe do some guesses.

Date: 2006-06-06 08:08 pm (UTC)It really has. There's obviously something about Dragons. Such a variety, and I can't actually decide on a favourite because there's so much to love.
