Jun. 18th, 2007 11:26 amJames is off work today. Doesn't he know Monday is my busy online day?!
Seriously, he's been to the doctors and was told he couldn't go to work, and that if the headache he's had since last week isn't gone by this afternoon he has to go to casualty to get it checked out. He's been feeling ill for a while, but hopefully he'll get sorted out.
Corey came home from his trip yesterday. I was amused picking him up. On Friday all the kids looks great, hair brushed, tidy, faces squeaky clean. Yesterday a rabble of muddy, baggy eyed kids got off the bus. Obviously they'd had a good time *g*
Once we'd been to mam's and put her new coffee table together, we came home and Corey gave James his father's day gift. He'd bought him Hot Fuzz and brought a 'world's best dad' mug from camp, gifts that James loved.
James has also found out he can have the beginning of August off work. They'd told him no at first, but now things have changed somehow and he's got the time. Which means we get to go to Butlins for a week with the inlaws. Yes, the same holiday as last year where 6 adults and 3 kids squashed into a caravan. The same holiday where my FiL pressed his naked ass against the bathroom window while I was sitting outside said window, and traumatised me for life. The same holiday where I was ready to walk home due to the petty arguments and being surrounded by in laws almost 24-7.
I console myself by thinking about the pretty dancing boys, and the fact I can take Jordan stuffed full of porn. Porn and the new Anita Blake, which is porn too really.

And whoa, the thoughts in my head over that
Porny and wonderful I bet. Sadly I forget that everyone doesn't know what I'm talking about. Oh well, if newbies think I've got a porn stuffed boything with me, all the better *g*
How are you today? Teeth and internet okay I hope.
*sends love*

Date: 2007-06-18 12:01 pm (UTC)Okay, I couldn't even type that with a straight face. ;)
My cable did get disconnected for a little while Saturday morning, but my sister rode in to the rescue, and we're good.
Tooth (or lack thereof) is good today; I don't need anything stronger than advil at this point (thank goodness, because the loretab? KILLING my stomach), though I'm staying on soft foods for a few more days (thank goodness I like mac-and-cheese!).
Really, though, I want to write. What is it about being at work that makes me want to write, whereas, when I'm at home and COULD, I don't? Yeesh.

Date: 2007-06-18 12:05 pm (UTC)I hate when things get cut off for non payment. It's so annoying, then you have to deal with getting it back on. I'm glad you're back *clings*
I'm so glad you're feeling better tooth wise.
Oh, what are you wanting to write? SPN I know, but anything specific? As for work, I assume it's because there's other good distractions at home.
