I've finally finished the first draft of my sparklyglee story. It's a good thing I have an in with the organisers and got an extension.

I'm happy with how it turned out, and know it'll be much better once my crack team of beta readers cast their beady eyes over it. I was worried about getting it done at one point. Though it wasn't his fault, James kept distracting me. Though man, the day he asked why I hadn't started the story earlier so it was done on time I nearly strangled him. It's just not that easy!

I have to admit to looking at the stories being submitted and being full of glee. Vaudevilles and I have made a challenge! I know, I'm a loser.

In none gleeful news. James has been signed off work for another week. He's still not at all well, though I suspect stress is contributing in some way.

I'd talk about Doctor Who, but my comments basically go to, OMG!

Lastly, thank you to everyone who are leaving comments at Corey's site. He's very excited right now, and keeps asking me to refresh the page. You're all wonderful for taking the time.

There are no stories yet. vaudevilles and I are running a happyfic challenge which goes live on Monday. So I've been looking in our email box at all the stories ready to be posted. What can I say, I'm lame like that *g*

Well, my favourite pairing in stories is trickc, but I love all the Chris pairings, so choey and trickyfish is great too.

Saying that, I'd be thrilled with anything, as the gesture means so much.
