I've been comment chatting with phaballa about Manband fic, and I'm curious.

If you write, would you consider writing Manband fic? Also, to everyone, would you read it? This is intra Manband pairings, not just mentions of the group in an Nsync story.

Reasons would be cool. Unless they're along the lines of I never write Chris fic because he sucks! Which would make me sad.

So, we've discussed. And reading the comments reminds me that, in the previews, Jeff comes out as kind of a douche. Which might actually make me MORE likely to write him. But Rich and Bryan? NO. No way. Because if Jeff seems like a douche, Bryan seems like a fuckwit, and Rich... has cancer. Which I don't want to write about.

I like what someone said above, about if JC joined the band. Actually, no, what I want is an AR where Backstreet recruits JC to replace Kevin. And then they throw him out for being a big freak.

Okay, the idea of JC in a man band makes me have glee. As does your BSB idea. JC would have to be a freak indeed to outfreak Nick. Though I suppose it's a different kind of freakishness.

Jeff comes off as a douche, but then again, reality shows are edited in such a way that they can make you believe pretty much anything about the people on them. And it's hard to tell anything from a preview...

I don't know. I'd like him to stick around and months later, when Kevin needs a break from being a dad, he comes back, walks into a room and sees Howie, Brian, AJ and Nick decked out in twinkling lights and pink feathers trailing from furry pants, and he'd be all, wtf!? I leave you and things go to hell!

True. It's a few minutes long preview, anything can happen. I want to see now!

Re: the Kevin thing, that would be HILARIOUS. Someone should write that now. I call not it!

Of course, in my dream world where JC's album actually gets released someday, he'd go on tour to open for Backstreet. And then I could make my friends go see them :)

No, no! The first thing Kevin would do if he saw them like that would be to laugh his ass off :-) After that he would of course tell them that they obviously can't be left alone for a minute AND COME BACK TO BACKSTREET TO PREVENT THEM FROM LOOKING LIKE IDIOTS IN PUBLIC TOO!! *giggles*
