I've been working on my autumnchallenge story today. Which btw, there are loads of videos left to pick, also 11 days to write, and 1000 words in 11 days is easy! If you haven't joined, think about doing so, you'll make me happy.

Anyway. I was writing, but it wasn't going well. It seems Incomplete in the hitmenBSB universe wants to veer into very angsty territory, which I don't want. Then I got the urge to work on the cheerleader!Nsync story. So I did, and now that story is shooting ahead. Which would be good, except it's not the story I need for the challenge deadline. What I think I'll do is get the BSB one done for the vid challenge, and try to finish the cheerleaders for trickc day. Maybe, because I've also been thinking that the cheerleaders would fit nicely into the Here We Go video, leaving me to do a story that concentrates on the trickc, and not just be there as they are in cheerleaders. I don't know, I'll sort something out and will have stories for both times somehow.

But, while I was looking at the vids I also spent a while looking at a few of the other videos, and I thought as we hadn't had a video discussion for a while, we could have one now. I picked Merry Christmas Happy Holidays, because I love it. I can't even discuss it in a rational fashion because all I can do is beam at the screen and chair dance with happiness.

See, this is why I adore this fandom, why I adore Nsync so much. I have so much glee that a video exists where Santa gets a fever and Gary Coleman decides that the perfect people to deliver gifts would be Nsync, because of course they would be! They go on the sledge! With Chris hanging onto the back! There's a pic of Chris standing on a box to reach that sledge somewhere, I wish I could find it.

So, they all look so good. This is why I love eurodays so much. They look amazing. Justin's curls, the goggles, the bling. Man. I love them. See, told you I couldn't discuss this well. It's just. JC holding the baby! Joey driving, the cheesy goodness of it all makes me flail with delight. They all look so happy, and Justin, so intent as they fly through the bad background projections sky. The literal choreography.

I do want to know what JC gets in that gift at 4:19, he looks very dubious about him. Wonder if it was ticking or something *g* Also, at 3:11 Chris and Justin pelt each other with boxes, I hope they were empty.

In conclusion I have woe that no one picked this for the challenge because I love the song, I love the video, I love my cheesy boyband so very much.

I don't know that I've ever watched the video too closely (and I can't right now because I'm at work), but I LOVE that song. Last year I went back to Ohio for Christmas and we were eating out at this middle eastern restaurant when it came on. And I was sitting there dancing around and my sister looked like she was going to die of embarassment and my mom started singing random lyrics to the wrong tune (she does that, like her version of 'I'll make love to you' which involves the phrase 'bang her til she screams for more'). It was fab.

Yeah, watching cheesy Nsync vids at work might not be the best thing to do. But I so agree, the song is great, so boppy and lively. Christmas wouldn't be the same with the Nsync Christmas songs :)

It's the homeless people who get me, every time. And they're so happy they get to eat a meal with NSYNC!

I adore every cracked-out moment of this video, but the five of them with kids, JC and the baby especially, those are the parts that kill me the most.

I'm of two minds when it comes to this video, on the one hand I hate, hate, hate the song (yes, I really do and I'm not ashamed to admit it :-) but on the other hand the video itself is so wonderfully cheesy and cute I can't help loving it. So I mostly watch it with the sound turned off :-)

This is really when Lance stopped looking like a peroxide bleached alien and started to become incredibly-lovely!Lance, he's just so pretty in this video!! Joey is so much fun in his striped sweater and overalls! And Chris' got the braids. And a Santa hat! They're puppies in this video. Puppies! All of them!!

JC looks so genuinely happy. LOVE HIM! They seem to like orange for some reason. Not complaining! They're SO CUTE with the kids! Adorable! Though Lance doesn't really know what to do with kids or girls, he's trying to hold them at an arm's length. :D OMG BABY!CHRIS!! And JC's bouncing, trying to make Lance bounce with him!! ♥!! I WANT IT TO BE CHRISTMAS ALREADY SO THAT I CAN LISTEN TO THIS 24/7!

They do seem orange, maybe it's so they can cheer up the poor homeless people and the kids. Make them laugh at the orange skinned boybanders. I want it to be Christmas too! Then I can put the cd into the player and listen every day!

But whyyy doesn't Chris get to ride in the sleigh? I am worried for him that he might lose his grip and be thrown to the wolves! Also, JC looks more ridiculously hot in a Santa hat with GOGGLES over it than any man has a right to. Also, it makes me giggle that JC sings "best time for the family" right when that girl is grinding up on him. Also, note Joey driving!

I want to know why he can't ride in the sledge too! I'm sure he could sit on JC's knee. He'd fit very well. It's a mystery how JC manages to rock the goggles and santa hat look, it shouldn't work but so does.
