Dec. 30th, 2007 10:57 amA few days ago I saw that
china_shop was running a Due South contest to find pieces of pictures scattered in various posts. Which got me wondering about an adapted version for pop. Something like, find five pictures of the sparkly boys wearing yellow shirts. Find five sparkly LJers who will have a code word for you, which added together makes a sentence you'd submit to get your point ( LJers who had agreed to that of course ) five stories where certain things happen. Something fun for after the new year, that would hopefully get people chatting. Just casual, done in my journal for the honour of a banner or maybe the ultimate prize, a star virtual gift *g*
Any thoughts?
ETA:
trumpeterofdoom suggested it would be a good idea for the next round of
pop_appreciate and I agree with her. So who's up for the next round? Probably after the SeSa reveals.
Also, I've just seen that
ephemera_pop has started the 'guess what I wrote for MtYG' meme. So, guess what I wrote for MtYG! First three to guess get ficlets of their choice. Sadly this offer isn't available to my beta squad, except for
msktrnanny who still can't guess, but can request because her birthday is too close to Christmas and she never gets birthday ficlets.
Bonus points to anyone that links my name to excellent fic *g* Plus, if you do guess, I won't be confirming or denying until after the reveal.
We're going to my brothers very soon to see my nephew and niece, then off shopping for tomorrow. I just got squared up after Christmas, and now there's the New Year stuff. I tell you, I'm already missing my usual quiet New Years.
