The clocks should not spring forward when I need to get up the next day.

They should not spring forward when the night before I'd spent a good amount of time changing tenses through a considerable chunk of a story. Because yes, there's a reason I use the tense I do. I need to remember that so I don't have to change things when I read through and it just seems wrong.

Reason 8979302 how your kids can make you feel old. Corey and Katie have been discussing how one of his friends was an emo. I was curious how a 12 year old kid had ended up labelled like that, but didn't find out until yesterday. It seems the kid's mobile went off in lessons, and the tone was The Black Parade. He also has a MCR messenger bag and floppy hair. So of course he's an emo. When I mentioned I'd use that bag, I was promptly given the look of teenage child and told by James I was an emu. I tell you, I get no love *g*

There's some interesting memes going around right now. I'd do the which OTP do we share, but mine would be. Chris - everyone in the world! Brennan - everyone in the world! Mikey - everyone in the world! Greg Sanders - everyone in the world! I'm easy like that.

I may have made my coffee too strong. I suspect I could drop something into the huge! mug and it would dissolve.

New fence today! Thank goodness. I'm sick of having planks in my hallway.

*jitters away*

I was promptly given the look of teenage child and told by James I was an emu. there's something delightful about misspelling emo as emu : P

Also I can't believe I just lost an hour of my day! Yuk.

This waiting to hear back fr. betas business is bad for my health.

I hear you. I have a story at beta too, not that I'm impatient as I only sent it last night and it's a long fic. But man, there's always that anxiety, like what if the story sucks?

Not that yours will I'm sure. How could mom fic suck? It's impossible. Unless sucking is a theme somehow.

Oh hey, no. Don't do that.

Have confidence in yourself as a writer. I know you have good ideas and I have faith that this story will be good too.

Will it help if I read and tell you what I think? I won't beta as such, you have enough of those, but I'm perfectly willing to have a sneak peek.

Ah, but you're the most badass emu around, I wager. *laughs*

This was my first response to that convo:
There's a WttBP ringtone? Oh, what am I saying...of course there is. I wonder which part of the song is used. Hmm. This is the sort of thing that will finally lure me over to the dark side cause me to get a cell phone.

So, birds of a feather and all that. And I try to keep in mind that the band is closer to my age than to a 12 year old, which helps. [Particularly after spending an evening trolling google for this ONE friggin' picture that I *still* can't find, and bumping up against myspace and friendster sites with MCR 's #1 fAn!!1!!]

Greg Sanders!! That fella needs more love. Despite the mix-n-match of fic and RPS this would require, I really want someone to write him bumping up against PatD. They have Vegas and entertaining hair in common, after all. :)

And mmmm... Mikey.

*hugs*

Too right! Them other emus aren't a patch on me!

Hee, I thought the same of you when he told me. I want that ring tone too. Thing is, I actually have a mobile phone but most times I don't use it. It's sitting battery dead on my desk right now. So there's no point getting one, but still. *wants*

So, birds of a feather and all that. And I try to keep in mind that the band is closer to my age than to a 12 year old, which helps.

Yep, I remember that too, and feel your pain about hitting those sites. I bet you lost some brain cells doing so.

Greg and PatD. This gives me so much glee I can't even say! Just thinking about it makes me want to beam with joy. Because, yes! He'd so love to hang out with them. He drums, sort of, he could play with Spencer.

Playing with Spencer.....hmmmmm.

In conclusion. Mikey!
From: [identity profile] crowgirl13.livejournal.com
That's right, they are patchless emus! :P to them!

LOL, I'm glad I'm not alone in having that thought. And I find your neglected cell to be very reassuring. [Though, I'm thinking about *that* ring tone and some of the awesome U2 ones I've heard, and how I want the Alias theme as another... ach, pure silliness!]

I don't know if I lost brain cells, but I think I scared some of the color sensors in my eyes. I tell you, it's almost enough to make me give up red and black as my favorite color combo. But really! - that's how people communicate? And geez, I feel bad for MCR... some of those people creeped me the heck out.

It's crossover heaven, I tell you. Imagine the shenanigans! Heck, add a Wentzian cameo! *gleeface* And hahaha - Spencer and Greggo!! Yes, yes that's an AWESOME thought.

But all good things end with Mikeyway.
[And OOooooh! I think I've figured out the reason Mikey is the sacrifical band member - the 'Ghost of You' video.]

Stupid emus!

Ring tones are pure silliness. My sister has hers set so each person has a different ring. While I think that's awesome, I know I'd never use it myself. Which is sad making because I could ignore people I didn't want to talk to then.

I feel bad for MCR... some of those people creeped me the heck out.

I can imagine. Some people just have no idea. The kind of fan that would grab some hair and try and get make a clone.

Spencer and Greggo!!

OH! This gives me glee! And yes, there must be a Pete cameo. Hee, FOB have just came on the TV, he knows! Gill could study Pete, give him that look, like what the hell?

OH! And Ryan would try on Gill's straw hat, at a jaunty angle of course.

I think I've figured out the reason Mikey is the sacrifical band member - the 'Ghost of You' video.]

Of course!

I totally forgot about the clocks changing so I was more than a little confused by it taking me an hour to walk down my stairs when I finally dragged my arse out of bed. (Me not having changed the time on my alarm clock but the time on my Sky box having changed automatically.) I briefly considered alien abduction as the culprit but then I remembered that once a year they like to steal an hour. Dammit.

Emu! LOL! I am SO going to be calling my friend's son that from now on. :D
