lol, I had to google to see what those even were. I would say "galoshes" or "rubber boots."

I'd say galoshes. But I think it depends on what part of the country you're from.

Words are strange things. Also very interesting. It doesn't matter how good I think I get at working out the differences between Brit and US english. I always get something wrong.

When I was in college, I had a t-shirt with a little yellow duck wearing red rain boots on the front of it. The caption read, "Duckie says to always wear your rubbers."
