James went back to work today! I've marked the occasion by watching what I want on tv, and will soon watch downloaded footage and shows without headphones. What a concept! Not that I've had a chance to miss him as in the last four hours he's phoned six times. However, there is a reason for that as he has to listen in on calls for a few weeks due to being off for so long, which has to be boring in the extreme.

Though man, he has this uncanny instinct where he'll call whenever I'd doing something away from the phones. Carry the heavy basket of ironing up the stairs. He phones. Go to tidy the bathroom. He phones. Every single time.

I know! It's been nearly 5 months. This morning I couldn't decide whether to actually watch what I wanted or sit in silence a while.
