I'm fairly sure I don't want to know more about the ibeatyou thing. I'm more curious about why he's at some AT&T studio session and who was supposed to be performing etc. I have my priorities after all.

I actually listened to the interview. They do sound like snobs... barely speaking loud enough to be heard, fiddling with instruments the entire time and being what could be seen as nasty. I get that the same old questions get boring, truly. But really. It's part of their job! Perhaps they were having a bad day, it's rather impossible to tell.

Now I'm all shades of curious how Stick knows Chris. lol.

Chris and all the other fine folks are the XL1067 studios-- the radioe station where he and Joey have filled in for the DJs. Its really sad when you can recognize DJs and peeps from a Florida radio station but wouldnt recognize DJs from your own state if they walked past you LOL

Stick on the Radio... from the Afternoon Show had a pretty good idea for a video project... and it just didn't work out the way he saw it going down...

This is from Stick's Blog on WIRED... it explains the whole thing...

We had this great idea to post a rebuttal to a video Jessica Alba had posted on her myspace page. It was basically her and her friends lipsynching to the Panic song "Nine In The Afternoon" you can see the video by clicking this link:

I had this "brilliant idea" (according to my boss). Basically we were going to shoot a video, VERY similar to her's but with a twist...we had Chris Kirkpatrick in the video with the XL staff and the grand finale of the video was to be Panic At The Disco actually playing their song..or just to have them involved.




We felt this was a huge win win for all involved...Panic has this new song they are pushing and it would get them huge exposure on the web. We talked to their record label and got approval and heard it wouldn't be a problem. So we rehearsed and rehearsed and fine tuned everything to make it a seemless operation (because the thing had to all be done in one take)

SO right before we start filming, I remember my boss coming down the hallway saying they wouldn't do it. EVERYONE was devistated. We had worked so hard, just for them to say no. Why might you ask?

Management claimed they didn't want to do it because "they felt like if THEY were in the video it wouldn't allow for the concept to continue" If you read Jessica Alba's blog, they shot the video for a site called IBEATYOU.com it's basically a video challenege...the whole goal is to "one up" the previous video. We felt like this thing would be a SMASH on the web staring Chris, Panic and all the XL peeps.
