I finished the first chunk of Bob in Spaaaace! It ended just over 5,000 words and I have another 6 chunks to go. Sigh.

I work much better when I can feed words at people and get reactions, so any volunteers? I have an awesome set of beta readers but I'm always aware that most of them aren't into bandom at all. What I really should do is just set up a bandom beta filter already. But yeah, if you want to read I'll either add you to the filter or share in google docs. Which I have to say, is awesome in the extreme. I don't know why I haven't been using it all the time.

I didn't get to sleep until 4am last night, then was awake 4 hours later. Which means I'm dragging today. Still, I've just had a nap so at least I'm perking up a little now. I just wish it would rain or thunder or do anything to get rid of this close heat.

You know what's frustrating? When you're seen as a human connection to Google. So many times a week I'll get a call from mam, she'll be at the pub and want to know answers to various things they're arguing about. The last three being types of camels, limpets and today an obscure singer who sang someone's favourite song. Just he didn't know what that song was called. Then when I actually found it she asked me to sing it, which really, no.

ETA: I'm good for volunteers :)

I'm happy to keep betaing the bandom stuff, BTW. Which you probably guessed, but please do include me in the filter when you set it up.

My sister is always calling my mum to look stuff up for her. Usually when she's taking part in pub quizes :-)

I did guess :) If you're happy with me throwing bandom stuff on there it only leaves Karey and vaudevilles as Alice wanted onto the bandon filer too. So if they're okay with it I won't do a split.

It has to be handy to have someone to look stuff up, but man, the pressure. It's like, I'm looking as fast as I can!
