Feb. 3rd, 2009 12:34 pmI was just reading a Panic sounding fic.
In the comments someone mentioned a story where someone sounds himself with a drumstick. At which point my expression was pretty much D:
But, I reasoned, maybe drumsticks are smaller than I'm picturing. So I Googled.
Over an hour later and I've just finished reading all about sounding, which led to reading about catheter play and then anal/sound electric play.
The conclusion being, using a drum stick that way? Not a good idea.
And that, people, is why I never get the things done I'm supposed to.

Date: 2009-02-03 12:48 pm (UTC)It was interesting reading, and who knows, I could slip some catheter play into a fic one day. You know, when hell freezes over.

Date: 2009-02-03 12:51 pm (UTC)Yeah, that's the conclusion I came to, too.
The website I was at gave a few examples not to use as sounds, including toothbrush handles, coat hangers, pencils etc. I just sat and boogled that anyone would think that was a good idea.

I read this story last night and thought of you, since we talk about crossovers all the time:

Abby(NCIS)/Xander(BtVS)/Greg(CSI)
D/s, but still pretty good, if short.

Date: 2009-02-03 01:47 pm (UTC)I'd not actually heard of sounding before this post. And I have to agree about the complete O_O factor of a drumstick being part of that experience.
Perhaps it's something you could train for, like corset-wearing?
[And I can't believe I'm having this conversation...]
