James and Corey came home with three fish last night. They'd went to my in-laws to clean them because no way would I touch them. I hate touching things like meat and fish *shudders*. It's just...ick..I don't eat red meat or anything on the bone either, put a raw steak in front of me and I'll gag, so the fish didn't stand a chance of being cleaned by me, or eaten.

They'd had a fantastic day, Corey was buzzing when he got home. He's a little sadist though. He wants me to go and tried to bribe me by saying that I could hit the fish they caught to kill it. He was totally serious too, like that was a great thing to do. But no, I'll leave the fishing to the men folk.

ewww... I don't think someone has ever asked me to empty an animal... well, my mother asked me to empty a chicken once - I glared and turned away. I'm a vegetarian now. Probably related to the fact that once my grandmother brought back a rabbit (a full one, with furr and all) and put it in the fridge to gut it later. I hated eating rabbits! and ducks.

I can't believe that anyone would want to eat ducks or rabbits. I know there's nothing different to other meat, but they're *pets*.

I turned vegetarian when I was 14 and stayed like that until I was pregnant, when I started eating chicken again.

People have said there's no difference between white and red meat, and there's not. But it's not for ethical reasons I stopped in the first place. It was because I'm so squeamish about what I eat. I never eat off the bone, if I see some blood in an egg I have to chuck it away, and they thought of black pudding makes me want to hurl.

So no cleaning of animals for me.
