I hated writing the outside part, I wanted to protect Brendon from anyone mean. I figured that of anyone Ryan would take the situation in his stride.

I think Brendon would have had a steep learning curve about himself as he went from home to living alone to being the guy he is now. I like to think of him as at that point having the confidence to tell himself that he's doing nothing wrong, but not so much that his confidence was easily shaken.
