Frank and Mikey really work for me. I love the BFF aspect and I think they mesh really well. I have heart-eyes for them always. Which you'd think would make me write them more often, but no.

I love hearing about WIPs, too. There's something magical about all those potential stories, just waiting to be shaped into life.

Yes! You've got exactly how I'm writing him. He loves his kids though outwardly it doesn't look that way at times, and they love him in return, when he has to wear his wrist braces they give him a gold star sticker for being brave :D
