Think that last line says it all, when reading it's almost like you take that breath with Jon. It's not okay yet but there is at least someone is around and Jon isn't alone in that darkness. Also it was all kinds of heartwarming to imagine Ryan climbing through Jon's window, because he does care. Hmm... Possibly this comment isn't too coherent - it being 4.30 am, oops - but oh well just wanted to let you know I liked this fic.
