turpsI've finally paid to get my extra icons back, so am now sitting impatient for LJ to apply them. Come on LJ, I've missed my icons. I've also just noticed in the shop you can buy up to 210 icons. 210 Mikey icons. Hearts in My Eyes.
My personal tradition on NYE is to stay in, eat finger food and drink hot chocolate. Which is exactly what I did last night. Along with marathoning the last 4 episode of Merlin during the day. Which, the last two. My heart. And nearly the full season of The Big C. Which had me snivelling at the end like the sap like I am.
Today I'm making a roast turkey dinner for the family, and while the turkey is now roasting I'm still sitting in my pjs. Which suggests that at some point I really need to get ready. It's been a good holiday season, and I'm going to be sad to see the decorations come down -- which will be very soon -- I'm looking forward to this new year. So much has changed in the last one, and I think things will just keep getting better.
Last night I also read a report of someone who'd gone to the Christmas concert and were sitting behind Gerard, Lindsey, Mikey and Alicia when they were watching the Smashing Pumpkins. I do like seeing pictures of them all of them hanging out like that.
Okay, plans for today. Get ready, make dinner, upload icons, get over myself and write that goddamn sex scene so I can get on with my fic >:(

Date: 2011-01-01 04:32 pm (UTC)I hate giving LJ money but I love icons so much I'm paying for two extra icon packages which gives me a total of 202 icons. I sometimes think a third package would be nice but that would give me more icon spaces on LJ than I have on DW and that would just irritate me I think.
Here in Sweden Christmas lasts until the 13th of January but lots of people take down their decorations earlier than that. Never before Epiphany though.
Good luck with the turkey dinner! And with the sex scene writing!!

Yeah, a lot of people take their decorations down that late but I'm done with them by the 1st. At least you taking them down later means your parcel may actually arrive while you're decorated.
