Yesterday I discovered that my BBB was actually about 1.5k shorter than I thought it was. I know why, when I first started writing this way back when I got horribly blocked, and then arsenicjade helped me get past those issues and plot out what would actually happen. Which led to a story on the same theme but with things happening in a very different way. Apparently I started writing again, leaving the beginnings of the first story way at the bottom of the file and then forgot about it until yesterday, when I scrolled down and was all, the fuck?! Also, a ♥ has to go right here for Arsenic who's made my morning for two days in a row now.

I should wip amnesty that unneeded ficbit off, except if I do that it's going to indicate what I'm actually writing for BBB, not that my summary is going to be particularly anonymous if you know what I like. But yeah, after some pathetic moaning on my part, writing is back on track thank goodness.

mikeyway_daily has had a lot more people posting lately, which is awesome because it means I get to come online and find pictures like this. Then I got to watch the actual interview and oh my goodness. How much did I love it? A lot. Mikey remains ridiculously pretty and Ray hot and their geeky talk left me with heart eyes. Though I did want to see all of the bus, and eat that toblerone. Their rock star lifestyles, watching movies, printing out duck hunt posters, eating chocolate and playing Uno. They'd fit into any fannish gathering anywhere easily.

I've been listening to Vices and Virtues, and liking it a lot. Also, the new Rise Against record and Summer Time by Black Cards. It's been a good new music few days.

It's no secret that I like pictures, looking at them, saving them, sharing my favourites. Which is why I love tumblr so much, but sometimes it throws up something like






James started his new job this week and has been enjoying it so far. Though it's taking some getting used to in terms of the journey there. It's not that far away, maybe a half hour drive if the roads are clear. The problem is the route he needs to take is the busiest one possible around here, and as his training starts at nine he's hitting the rush hour. His first day he left at half seven and didn't arrive until minutes before nine. So yesterday he left at seven and ended up missing the rush hour traffic, meaning he was there far too early. It's his friend's funeral today, but unfortunately he can't get the time off. James wants me to say thank you to everyone who passed on their condolences when I mentioned it before. He does stay logged into his own LJ and read all the messages, but is very much a lurker.

In happier news, last time I was at Sunderland I noticed a Lush shop is opening \o/ Or maybe that should be /o\ considering all my spare money will now be spent on amazing bath and pampering goodies.

And now I'm going to go reactivate my extra icons, because I went to use my bird's nest Mikey icon this morning and couldn't. I can manage without the others but that's unacceptable!
