The plans to mail fell through last night because of two things. One, Houghton Feast started so I was descended on by the clan of in-laws. Who came in and went straight to the computer to check it out. Then stood and read a LJ entry I was in the middle of posting. Which I happen to think is rude, but what can you do?

Then once they went I had to get James packed to go away today. He's just gone, which is why I'm awake this early on a Saturday. James was furious yesterday when he went to pick his tux up and they hadn't delivered it. They've promised him that it'll be there this morning but it means it's cutting into his journey time, especially as he has to get the sleeves tacked up.

The in laws are coming again later, so I suppose I should tidy up at some point. But first I'm having an hour of me time, and catching up a bit.

Last thing, just a sort of note to myself. Next time I write a drabble dealing with borderline abuse don't use the cheerful mood icon. People think you're strange then lol.

oh, that reminds me of a day, when I was in the US, and I was telling Mouse of a Futurama episode, and I started explaining to her what "to bend" meant... over the chat, she sniggered and told me about the fics she read... I was mortified - and I still do that all the time, explaining obvious references to her (if I don't feel like a fool at least once a week, I'm lost lol)

Oh man, I could just picture that, explaining what 'to bend' means to Mouse *g* I can just imagine the reply about how she knew what the expression means.

Considering you've only been a slasher a relatively short time I bet you do great with the innuendos. And yeah, I keep giggling when I think of blowing kisses now, from now on blow jobs and kissing will always be linked in my mind *g*

hey, come on, that was three years ago (OMG! that was three freaking years ago!) I had already written my first fic back then (and no, nobody will ever, *ever* read about it) which was slash, torture, rape, and Highlander. I wasn't a total slasher yet, not even a fic addict... Geez, that seems to be such a long time ago!

just don't confuse them in public, I doubt your in-laws would be that open minded lol
