turpsYesterday I submitted my wave 2 BBB, well before deadline too. The end changed completely from the end of ultimate suck that it had previously and overall I like what I ended up with. Now all I have to do is think of a title and I'm golden, because sadly, as much as the twitter people try to tell me otherwise, I really can't keep Frank Rubs One Out as the actual title.
We also went to see Captain America yesterday. It was cheesy fun and I liked it a lot. Came home, watched Project Runway and was in bed before ten because I was just that tired.

Talking of pictures, Pedicone posted some last night showing his bandmates had been drawing on him. While it was great to see all that skin, and as Pedicone said himself, his manly chest mane, what I loved most of all was imagining their hands on him. Frank's hand on Pedicone's chest, steadying himself as he drew that eagle, Mikey holding his arm and moving it so he could drawn underneath. James in so close, oh, or maybe they did it at the same time. Pedicone lying on the ground with his arms outstretched. I may need to consider this a while.
I think that's all I was going to mention, so I'm going to end with this meme which so many people have posted by now.

Date: 2011-08-13 04:21 pm (UTC)OMG, I KNOW! I was saying to Omens it's good that I didn't actually write the follow up because Brendon would be put through the wringer again.
He'd get there eventually though, it just takes some time, and then he goes off to community college to train as a social worker and helps out at the soup kitchen when he has time and all the time he has people who care for him, there with their constant support, even when he does do something stupid.

He does go on to have a relationship, just it's a very slow process. He has this constant internal battle where while he's admitted he is gay that comes along with huge negative connotations. It's like, he's surrounded by same sex couples who're really happy and logically he knows it's okay, but there's always a part of him that's screaming wrong, especially as that's been strengthened by really seedy sexual experiences.
It's how he can come out to Ryan, Spencer and Jon, and then go on to try and date a girl, because he's battling his own demons and he's not really sure about anything. Same goes for why he gets drunk to have sex.
But after a lot of counselling he tries dating again, but this time with a guy. It's not something that lasts, but in the time they are together they take things slow and eventually Brendon trusts him enough that they kiss, and he enjoys it.
It also helps that when they do break up it's because their lives are going in different directions, and Brendon's left with good memories, and a lot of stuffed animals from the fair.
I did think it could end with gsf, not straight away as none of them are ready for that, but when they do have their own place and Brendon's finally taken that first step of dating -- which is something he had to do himself. I can imagine some conversation where he's saying how he might be asexual because he doesn't like sex, and Ryan would go, how do you know, you haven't had it? And Brendon would protest he's not a virgin and Ryan would tell him that he knows that, but Brendon hasn't had sex, he's been fucked and sucked people but that's not the same as having sex.
Which is when Spencer tells him to shut up, because again, Ryan Ross, least tactful person ever at times.
Not that he hasn't got a point, and things get a bit weird after that, with nights snuggled on the couch and Brendon becoming aware that Spencer and Ryan are sticking close.
Anyway. It would turn out that they want him, have done for a while but weren't going to say or do something until Brendon is ready, and they've decided he is now.
It would end with them taking sex really slow the first time they do it, Brendon on top, which is something he's never done.
Oh man, I have too much to say about this. I've thought about it a lot, and mostly what's important is it takes time for him to work through his issues and trust someone enough to have a relationship. That it ends with multiple people is something he never expected, except for the fact to Brendon it's all about trust, and he trusts Ryan, Spencer and Jon completely.
As for his actual family. he does try to see them, sending invitations to his graduation and the staff at Clan House do their best to arrange phone calls at least, but Brendon's parents always say no.
He does see some of his siblings eventually, but it doesn't go that well. They say that they love him, but follow that up by saying that they can't accept his lifestyle and that as far as his parents are concerned Brendon died years before.
They do try, he has to give them that, travelling to see him and hugging him tight as soon as they meet, but Brendon's lifestyle goes against everything they believe.
They do send birthday cards, but he never gets one from his parents, and eventually Brendon gives up and realises family doesn't always mean blood.
And wow, I'll shut up now.

Date: 2011-08-13 06:25 pm (UTC)*SOO MANY FLAILS* and I am glad I wasn't alone wanting to know what happens with Brendon in the future and it makes sense that it would be long and take a lot of time. He would be a good social worker in that world.

Date: 2011-08-14 07:25 am (UTC)Other parts of his life would go forward much faster than the sex issue, and anyone who he dates would have to really patient. It's why I can see him deciding he is asexual for a while, because it's just easier to not think about it and do without.
Of course he's not, he's just fucked up in the head about it, but that's not a distinction he can really see yet.

LOL at Ryan the Tactful. Yes, he's got a point but. I did wonder about the prospect of GSF, partly because of the bedtime cuddles but also because I thought it would be very hard for Brendon to trust anyone else to that degree. And now I want to hug all of them!
I kind of want to shake Brendon's siblings but at least they tried, sort of.

(I'm also having a happy little fantasy about Shepherd House being set on fire by one the 'patients' and once it's been doused, the police find all the pornography and there's a big scandal about their methods, leading to the place being shut down.)
As you can see, I have no problems with you talking about this 'verse as much as you like!
