Yesterday I submitted my wave 2 BBB, well before deadline too. The end changed completely from the end of ultimate suck that it had previously and overall I like what I ended up with. Now all I have to do is think of a title and I'm golden, because sadly, as much as the twitter people try to tell me otherwise, I really can't keep Frank Rubs One Out as the actual title.

We also went to see Captain America yesterday. It was cheesy fun and I liked it a lot. Came home, watched Project Runway and was in bed before ten because I was just that tired.

Talking of pictures, Pedicone posted some last night showing his bandmates had been drawing on him. While it was great to see all that skin, and as Pedicone said himself, his manly chest mane, what I loved most of all was imagining their hands on him. Frank's hand on Pedicone's chest, steadying himself as he drew that eagle, Mikey holding his arm and moving it so he could drawn underneath. James in so close, oh, or maybe they did it at the same time. Pedicone lying on the ground with his arms outstretched. I may need to consider this a while.

I think that's all I was going to mention, so I'm going to end with this meme which so many people have posted by now.

It always trips me up to realize that outside of bandom Mikeyway isn't actually really tall.

Bandom plays with our perceptions. I've read many fan reports of people meeting Mikey who're surprised at just how slight/short he actually is, and I guess that's all to do with the people who he's surrounded by.

Linchpin, I had so much fun writing that. It's awesome you asked for it too. I love when the less well known stories get requested.

While Mikey very much remains the center of their threesome over the summer, Frank and Pete get much closer too. They bond in a way that strengthens the threesome, enough that Mikey has no hesitation in leaving them alone when he wants to spend time with Gerard or grab a nap that involves actual sleep. Of course that works against him sometimes, when he's waylaid by both Frank and Pete, both of them grinning as they tumble Mikey to the ground and pull him under a bus.

Which is undignified and leads to bruised knees, but is worth it when Mikey's staring up at the underside of the bus, two laughing idiots at his side.

Pete dreads the end of the summer. He can't see how it's possible they can go on as they are, and is all too aware that in a threesome like theirs it's always going to be Pete who gets left out due to being in different bands.

It's why as the end of the tour approaches he starts to pull back, preferring to make the break himself before it's forced upon him. It breaks his heart and sometimes it feels like he can't breathe when he thinks about losing not just one, but both of his boyfriends in one go.

Pete's in his bunk one night when he hears someone walk down the aisle before the curtain is pulled back. Blinking against the sudden light he stares at Mikey and Frank. They don't try to climb in, the bunks are a tight squeeze for two, three leads to bumped heads and painful elbows, but what they do is stand there waiting, until Mikey says, "This isn't going to end'

And Pete wants to believe him, but as much as he hangs onto dreams, sometimes reality is all too consuming, and he says blankly, "You can't know that'

Mikey just shrugs, looking unconcerned as he says, "I do know that"

And it's not even a good reason, any reason at all in fact. But somehow Pete believes him.

Frank loves Mikey and Pete, deeply and true. But sometimes being with them is hard, especially the times Frank feels like the only stable element between two people who're lost in their own heads. He doesn't mind that he's the anchor they hold onto, he'll give time, emotion and love always.

But yeah, it's hard sometimes. Especially around Black Parade, when he felt raw and needed support himself.

But as difficult as it gets sometimes, Frank wouldn't change a thing. Because for every hard moment there are multiple good ones, times Mikey and Pete have been there for him. It's what they do, adapt and change and be there for one another, three points of a triangle that come together and create something solid, even when a side wavers.
