May. 15th, 2012 07:23 pmWe finally got the seedlings into the new raised bed today. It's been so rainy and windy later it was impossible to do so before, but now we have a bed full of courgettes on one side and beetroot on the other. Plus, the tomatoes have been re-potted into bigger pots so they're happy too. Of course after dodging rain showers all afternoon it's now a beautiful evening with gorgeous warm sun. Oh well, at least the plants will be enjoying their new home.
This new My Chem was linked on twitter, and after I can stop looking at Mikey's hands in the picture they used, I was amused by this question.
First thing’s first: Who’s playing drums? Will it be Jarrod for Bamboozle, and will he play on the next album?
Haha, oh my. First thing off the bat, huh? Jarrod is a rad guy and a fantastic player. It’s been really fun making music with him these past few months. He loves coffee and hitting drums super-hard… and the fact that he’s not a thieving piece of garbage is a breath of fresh air.
Tell them how you really feel, Frank. And really, of course Jarrod likes coffee, he'd be shunned otherwise I'm sure. But mostly I'm struck by the Oh my, especially in an emailed context. Fess up to your strangely formal then bad languaged ghost writer, Frank.
To end,

See!

Gah, the MWD animated gif page remains addictive. One day I'll posted them all as a huge gif spam because *____________*

Date: 2012-05-16 01:45 am (UTC)That new interview came at the perfect time as I was getting all grrr about something at work. ANYHOO, it's funny, you know, because of our canon, that the Pedicone thing seemed to have happened so long ago. When, in reality, we're talking about 7 or so months total?
I do have to admit to liking Frank's not-subtle-at-all comment about Jarrod not being, well, a thief because the band has been quiet about it. Though that could be because no one asked them directly about the situation or maybe the guys needed some time to look back and still feel pissed about it but not say anything stupid. Who knows. My point (I *swear* I have one) is that it's quite poignant that this comment came from Frank. He seemed (to me) to be the one who was closest (friendship-wise) with Pedicone.
I'm also thinking that being a coffee lover is a total MUST if one wants to play in the band (whether as a touring member or a permanent one). The Way bros alone totes survive on consuming their body weight in coffee every day. LOL!
That gif is deffo happy shivers-inducing. GUH!

How's things going, bb? You seem quiet lately.

He really is. I still think his actual answers read a little weird but imagine he does feel that way.

Date: 2012-05-16 05:46 pm (UTC)Oh, Frank getting his rage on would be a great distraction.
I agree, it does seem ages ago that it all went down, but to them it must be still raw, especially to Frank who yeah, I agree seemed the closet to him.
On a lighter note. I wonder if Mikey asked Jarrod to join the band considering he got to ask Bob and then Pedicone. Maybe he's seen as a jinx now.
They always say they don't put much on their riders but I bet coffee is on there. Or at least directions to the nearest coffee house *g*

Date: 2012-05-16 05:47 pm (UTC)I enjoy gardening. Though maybe wouldn't if I had a bigger garden. As it is small is just perfect for us.

Hmmmm. Yes.

Date: 2012-05-17 03:25 am (UTC)I remember seeing an MCR rider for the HCT (one that was for the band & crew). Coffee wasn't mentioned because it was more about the actual food (lunch and dinner. It had requests for including vegetarian and vegan options.) Also, lots of lean hot pockets and random junk food.
What caught my attention, though, was that "someone" *cough* Frank *cough* requested veggie burgers from the same brand I usually buy. Oh, and Toffuti (which, for someone like me who's lactose-intolerant, it's a neat solution to avoiding ice cream.)

Date: 2012-05-17 08:00 am (UTC)I've said it many times before but I really wish they would blog more, all of them. I get why they don't but I used to enjoy them a lot. Mikey coming across as so damn sweet, Gerard and his reality tv obsession, Ray the nerd, and his go kart report which remains the best thing ever.
I remember that rider. I love seeing things like that, it indulges my nosy side, because I like to know what they're eating. It's surprising more people don't use details like that in fic, I'd read so much fic of them making sandwiches and bunking down on old sofas while preparing to go on stage later that day.

Date: 2012-05-18 04:27 am (UTC)It was a really great way to add to the canon, that's for sure. *ponders on your idea about using the rider for ficcish purposes, acts ~mysterious~ on purpose*
