turpsI had a lovely day reading yesterday. There's no way I'm going to get all my to-read stories read before wave 3 starts posting -- especially as that's today -- but I did read some of the stories I was most wanting to read, so I'm counting it as a win.
I got my bbb posting date today, and oh, the most amazing art. Each time I look at it I squee and I can't wait until everyone can see it too.
On the recommendation of someone in my circle I've been reading The Last Survivors series. I've just finished the second book and what I've gained from it is if something terrible happens and the world starts to break down, I'd better go in the initial catastrophic event because I'd be screwed afterwards. My food cupboards do not contain enough to keep us going for more than at most, a few weeks.
Went to nanna's on Sunday and dad's Parkinson's was the worse I've seen it. The medication he's on makes him exhausted so he was slumped over in the kitchen, trying his best to engage with everyone there but failing badly. He and his partner have been going off on holidays while they still can and they travelled to Germany on Tuesday. I just hope he's okay with all the travelling.
Now though, I'm going to make tea and have a quick bath as there's a Gabe/Mikey out there that's yelling, read me right now!

That's so sad about your dad. I hope they'll have a good time in Germany anyway.
