Jul. 1st, 2013 10:21 amI enjoyed watching Mikey on the Aquabats. He seemed to really get into the role and I loved watching him in a screamo band and also after when he was running around in his tight black suit of evil! I was watching on a stream and hanging on twitter at the same time. As always, it was a combination that was a lot of fun, with people reacting at the same time to the same things.
annemari is a star and posted excellent screencaps here and also gifs here and here. This is one of my favourites. look at his neck, his hair, his face!
I need an intense Mikey Way driving face icon in my life, but I need to do some pruning of DW icons first as I've no slots yet. Then I can upload the new Mikey/Pete icon turlough made for me, too.

egelantier I've been watching the available episodes of The Fosters. To steal her words, it's a a bit soapish show about multiethnic family with two mothers temporarily taking in an abused pair of siblings. and I love it. While there are a lot of issues being dealt with, it's very calming to watch and I've enjoyed every episode, especially as it hits my love of found home so beautifully. Four episodes have been shown so far, but it's still being broadcast now, so soon there will be more in my life.
I'm sure everyone interested has already seen this, especially as at one point, this banner had taken over my flists. But, Ray! I've added my ownpredictable prompts and encourage you to do the same.

I'm sure I've mentioned before but I test a lot of products. I've just had some face serum delivered that looks pretty expensive. Much more than I'd pay for myself that's for sure. Of course, I don't know what brand it is, but it looks good, even if the instructions are a little faffy. Hopefully it doesn't make my skin drop off.
It's a gorgeous sunny, if windy, day, so I'm off to spend some time in the garden. We've got plants needing repotting and veggies to check out. The turnips, beetroot and beans are growing beautifully and the tomatoes, peppers and chills are still doing great. We've also got a lot of baby courgettes and soon I'll be able to harvest them. I'm looking forward to that first courgette filled stir fry. Though, while writing this a grey cloud has blocked out the sun. Hopefully it keeps going.

Date: 2013-07-02 07:05 pm (UTC)I hope your face survives the serum!
Your garden seems to be in full swing. It sounds wonderful. I hope it continues like this for the rest of the summer! Here in Sweden on the other hand nothing much seems to have happened during the week I was away. The nights have apparently been very cold so I guess that's why. It was quite suprising to see peonies still in bloom when I came back though.

Date: 2013-07-03 04:15 am (UTC)One of the things that has made me happiest is seeing the peeps' reaction to the show. It's been such an overwhelmingly positive one that I'm OK with not having seen the episode in question yet. \Mikeyway/!
NGL, I have a Toro!fest idea (sadly, NOT the fisting one, T. Sorry!) that I keep picking up and putting back down. I'm hoping to enjoy a lot of Ray fics by the 15th. :D!
I shall cross my fingers that everything goes OK with the serum. FWIW, I've got pretty sensitive skin so I pre-emptively cringed on your behalf (in case you have a negative reaction to the product.)
Yays for more time gardening. It's been either super-sunny and hot OR dark and gray (though not that much cooler, temps-wise) over here. I long for December (when things start to level off and cool down. Not to mention longer days and shorter days. #whyyesimavampire)

Date: 2013-07-05 05:38 pm (UTC)I do love the Antibat outfits, and Mikey's hair is amazing. It's a shame the timing wasn't earlier, we could have had all of MCR as the thrash band.
Well, my skin hasn't fallen off but I do keep getting small pimples. I suspect it's too rich for my skin, which is a shame.
It's been heating up over here, and also been very wet which is a great combo for the garden. The beans seem to be growing inches every day.

Date: 2013-07-31 02:52 pm (UTC)I hope by now you have seen the episode. I loved watching it with other people on twitter, and while I've seen negative reactions on tumblr, those were inevitable. Especially so as part of the fanbase there seems to be firmly stuck in the 'emo' anything else is embarrassing mindset.
I have your torofest fic tabbed \o/
No negative reaction to the product but I did stop using it. It was weird because while it hydrated my skin beautifully, it must have been much too rich as I kept coming out in small white pimples. I'm far too old for that lark so I gave it up as a bad job.
It's hot until December where you are? D:
