Yesterday I could finally renew my paid account over at LJ. I've been working with only a handful of icons for far too long and I've missed friendsfriends a lot. But now I'm sorted for the next six months.

Also yesterday I saw dapatty had posted podfic of Nowhereville for bbb, my Brendon/Spencer, Pete/Patrick/Mikey BBB from a while back. That was so lovely to see, especially as it came along with a cover and mix that are both great. I've said it before but I do love seeing stories gain extra elements with recordings and cover art etc. It's just so incredibly cool as each new person puts their stamp on the original story. I'm sure it's no surprise but this exchange between Mikey and Gerard made me grin. Cute as buttons the both of them. What with Gerard tweeting up a storm, Mikey embracing the selfie, Frank posting many photos on Instagram and Ray's car joy it's been a nice time bandom wise.

Now if only I could use that to actually prompt me to write. I got a really lovely comment about Grey Crimson Skies the other day, it said such good things about the story itself and my writing, and I miss being able to do that. dr_jasley is a star and was encouraging me to just write already, and I think I'll take her advice and go peer at my h/c bingo card a while, see if anything jumps out. At least that way I'll stop complaining on here.

Nowhereville is still my second-favorite of your stories. I'm happy it got podfic'd even if that isn't my kind of thing.

I've missed them so much, and of course every time I lose my paid account at LJ it reverts back to old fandom icons due to when they were uploaded. I think every post at MWD has been my default for months.

Yeah, I hate when fans comment with that stuff on their actual instagrams or twitters. It's embarrassing to see and I wish they'd think before commenting. Not that they will.

One of them could eat a poisoned pear made by a wicked tree spirit that wants to teach them a lesson about caring more for trees. Or something. I'm sure you can come up with something suitably terrible :-)
