Yep, I finally wrote something so hopefully I'll stop whining now.

But I do have to mention how sad I am I couldn't use 'It's All Gone Pear Shaped' as a title as Googling suggests it's a Briticism. It would have worked beautifully, too.

I have run half my errands, but I still have a haircut appointment at 11:30am, the rest of my errands, and I was thinking of going to see Guardians of the Galaxy, but that would take up the whole afternoon.

So probably not, and I will focus on writing this afternoon. Tomorrow I have a baby shower about 2 hours away.

I technically have next Saturday for writing as well, since my flight leaves in the evening, so maybe some magic will happen then.

Right now I am just staring at the blank page. /o\

a) the story is fantastic, and

b) although I wouldn't use the expression myself, I've heard "gone pear-shaped" often enough from Brits to understand it. (I think it's unfairly maligning to (normal) pears, but that's by the bye. :p )

Pear-shaped is a pretty common thing over here now. Or I know a lot of people who speak in Britishisms. (that is a lot of i's and s's)
