Feb. 19th, 2015 06:35 pmI had a very nice birthday, yesterday.
Corey got me stuff from Lush, which is always excellent, and everyone else gave cash, which I intend to spend tomorrow at the Metrocenter.
I got lots of lovely messages on twitter and on DW/LJ -- which I'll finish replying to very soon -- and of course, a very handsome graphic from
turlough
James took me out to dinner during the day and it was just a nice chilled out relaxed day. I did get a card addressed like this from Kayleigh. Sisters, who'd have them?
Today I posted my no tags story, and I'm looking forward to reading the others that have been posted. There looks to be some good stories up there already.
A quick catch up on other stuff. James did get home on Sunday night. He's had some of his meds doubled and his own GP may want to run some tests to completely rule out angina, but right now that's looking unlikely. Yesterday he also had a hospital appointment about his hand. He's been having a bit pain where the wrist joint should have been, but as his consultant said, if they put another fake joint in he'll have trouble with his fingers and tendons again, so it's a choice between the pain he has now or the worse pain of tendons and fingers. So, it's going to stay as it is. But his consultant also said medical advances are happening all the time, who knows what they can do a year from now?
