Feb. 28th, 2015 07:22 amAdding to James' run of health issues, last night he went to Scouts, and somehow managed to fall out of his car. A trip by ambulance to the hospital later and it turns out he's broken the bone above his elbow.
We need to go to fracture clinic later and I really hope they'll just put on a cast -- he's got a back slab on now -- and it doesn't need pinning. It shouldn't as it's a clean break but as James' bones are so small and thin you never know until an expert has a look.
It's on the same side as he had his operation, but thankfully his wrist seems okay. Our car will also need to go to the garage as it rolled back and hit a wall.
I also both want to laugh and cry that James was due to go back to work today after his heart scare from a few weeks ago. So much for that, even with the best option of a cast he'll need weeks off.
It's just one thing after another right now and due to not sleeping well last night I suspect today will be fuelled by coffee.
ETA: Back from the fracture clinic and he'll be having an operation some time next week.
