Yesterday we started to put up the greenhouse, see. This is our first actual permanent greenhouse so it's all very exciting right now. At the moment we've got the four walls done and the plan is to get the roof and door done in the next few days as bad weather is supposed to set in at the end of the week.

We saw the eclipse It was such a cool and interesting thing, and we were lucky that while there was cloud cover it was just enough to help highlight the sun, not that we were looking directly of course. The birds going back to the trees and the light dropping was great and I'm really glad we got the chance to see.

I went to see the physio therapist last week. After he prodded my back and pulled my legs around a bit he agreed it's a trapped nerve so I have exercises to do that will hopefully help that. Thankfully it only really bothers me I do certain things, like walk for too long or sit in certain ways, but man, I about jumped off the bed when he dug his fingers around the part of my spine with the trapped nerve. I came out feeling worse than when I went in.

James goes to fracture clinic later, and I can't lie, I'm really nervous about the appointment. I just hope the bones have started to knit and the back-slab can be changed to something more comfortable. As of now James has talked to his group boss at work who strongly suspects he won't be allowed back to work at all while wearing a cast due to insurance issues. So, it looks like some belt tightening will have to happen whatever happens today. It's just a case of damage limitation so if they have started to knit hopefully this next cast will only have to be on for a further 3 weeks. Fingers crossed and all that.

And now I'd better go start my day. I'd like to think it's going to be the last time I have to wrestle James into one of his vests, something that takes more hands than I actually have.
