For the first time in ages I had a pj day yesterday. I knew from today things were going to be busy for a while so I took the time to just chill, catch up on some tv and get rid of the ironing pile. Then it was time for a bath and book, which should really have had extra time as the last time I'd been in the bath the bathroom light went off and we couldn't find any energy saving bulbs. As it's not my idea of a good time to sit in a pitch black room I had to have a quick shower instead, which would have been fine except the light went just after I'd used some of my favourite Karma bubble bath bar -- what a sad waste.
Talking of waste. I'm so sad I never got to see Gleb do a show dance in Strictly. Sadness. I'm sure he would have created something amazing, no doubt including taking off his clothes and throwing Anita around. I'm going to miss seeing him on Saturdays and Sundays, enjoying his pretty face was one of the highlights of my weekends.
Other things. My new baby nephew has been in hospital the last week, but came home yesterday. He had breathing difficulties but it seems all is fine now. The in laws aren't having a good time of it right now as a week or so ago they thought my fil had had a stroke. He was in hospital for that but it seems it wasn't a stroke but some blood vessels in his brain bursting and affecting his memory. Which sounded serious to me but he was sent home and just told to keep on top of his meds.
Christmas prep wise I'm on top of things now, which is amazing considering where we were last week. Present wise all I need now is a gift card and a few stocking filler type things for Corey and we're done. Cards have been written and sent today, which means the international ones will be late, but considering there was point I didn't think any would go at all that's something I'm okay with.
We took nanna out last week. She always liked to go to Metrocenter to look at the lights but hasn't been able to manage the walking the last few years, so we went to an outlet store instead and then out to eat. She asked Pauline to come along too, so she did and we went back to hers after dinner. It was the first time nanna had been there since the funeral and nanna ended up crying, and man, talk about breaking my heart over and over again.
Today we've been out grocery shopping, but I managed to click my knee out of place while sitting down to eat dinner, and that wasn't fun at all. James kept asking if I was okay and I had to tell him to shush as all I could concentrate on was not bursting into tears or throwing up.
And because I have been touching base with fandom a little, it was great to see the photo Mikey posted of him with Ray. I've said it before but I love that Kristin and Christa have become such great friends and that they do tend to hang a lot.

I'm glad to hear your little nephew is better again. Breathing trouble sounds scary. And so does strokes! I'd no idea they sent you home that quickly after one!

I was very surprised they sent my FiL home so early when they thought he'd had a mini stroke. He's still okay now, but it seemed so risky.
A month on and my knee is mostly better. I can still set it off if I jerk it hard in the wrong direction, but at least I can get in the car easily again. That was the pits.
